A few photos from a hike up to "Bola del mundo" to see the Perseids and the Milky Way.
What is there to say? Italy is a country with the richest history, breathtaking landmarks, and great food! Here is my image gallery of what was my two week vacations around Milan, Venice, Florence, Rome, Naples, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and Capri. I approve of Italy as a photography destination!
During the month of May 2017, an endurance event I participated in brought me to Lanzarote, Canary Islands. I, being the photography enthusiast that I am, could NOT leave the camera at home; so following race day, it was all about enjoying the unique landscape of this beautiful island. There is no doubt in my mind that I shall one day return.
Somewhere in "la España profunda".
This is what a short trip to New York City looks like in pictures!
Cuba, a country with a past so intertwined with today´s present that it makes it hard for anyone who visits to imagine that it has a place in our future; however, it comforts me while speaking with the locals that they seem hopeful. I can only hope and wish for the cuban people to eventually move on from the past that haunts them and develop their full potential. I guess time will tell...
Simply said, it is one of the most beautiful European cities I have ever been to.
This is last weekend´s visit to La Sierra de Guadarrama and La Granja de San Ildefonso, Segovia . I often pass around these sites while on my long bike rides, although I must admit, it is much more enjoyable behind a camera lense than pedaling on my bike! Hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Just some shots of the beautiful Río Alberche that I took on a hike a few weekends ago.
As some of you may already know, I enjoy running, and sometimes I even enjoy running exactly 42.195km. No more, no less. My passion for running took me to Lisbon this past weekend as I participated in the "Rock n Roll Lisbon Marathon". It´s a real shame that the weather was not all that great; however, I still managed to take some interesting shots of this truly breathtaking European city. Some of you may have seen some of these photographs on my instagram @alessandrobove777, but scroll down on these to see a higher resolution/quality photograph.
On this project, I try to document New York City as seen from the eyes of any tourist or even a New Yorker. Many of the shots were taken at different NYC attractions (i.e. ESB, Central Park, MoMA, Top of the Rock, etc). Just imagine yourself waking up one morning and catching the subway, waking across Central Park, making your way to Washington Square, walking the Brooklyn Bridge, and even visiting one of the many NYC attractions. THAT is what I try to recreate on this album. Hope you enjoy the photographs as much as I enjoyed taking them!
Photos of my trip to Brussels and Bruges
This photo gallery documents my trip to India during January 2014, and although it is long overdue, better late than never! As I was post-processing the photos prior to uploading them to this album, I noticed that even though some photos have good composition, some of the camera parameters are just way off, making the photograph lose image quality. Nowadays, I like to think that I have learned a lot more and gotten better at using the correct parameters as I grow further as a photography enthusiast. Although this was my very first photography trip, I am quite happy with the results, for it was in India that I fell in love with photography. I hope you all enjoy these photographs as much as I enjoyed shooting them, and that it motivates you to visit this amazing and beautiful country.
