What better way to welcome the new year than a journey to Asia! This trip consisted mainly of Vietnam and the Angkor Wat; however, my trip started with a long layover in Hong Kong, so I managed to get out of the airport and snap a few shots of the city. I then flew into Vietnam where the majority of time would be spent. During the next 8 days I would visit Hanoi, Hue, Hoi An, and Ho Chi Minh City. Vietnam shocked me in a very positive way, for I found the Vietnamese people to be very nice, the food to be really good, and the cities and countryside to be very photogenic. After a great experience traveling around Vietnam, it was time to fly into Siem Reap, Cambodia were I would finally see the beautiful Angkor Wat. The beauty and awe of this temple cannot be expressed merely through words, so I tried my best to portray this on my photographs. I highly recommend Vietnam and Cambodia for any one who is keen on travelling and learning more about different cultures and traditions.
